The ISLANDS OF JAPAN

We filmed Rally the Globe’s Islands of Japan Marathon - a 28-day, 7,000km endurance rally crossing Japan from Sapporo to Fukuoka. The event brought together 22 international crews competing across Regularities, Speed Tests and Navigational challenges, set against Japan’s diverse landscapes and cultural backdrops.

 

Our coverage captured the spirit of adventure, historic machinery - including a 1925 Bentley Supersports and a Datsun 240Z - and the human stories behind a month-long journey through one of the world’s most visually striking and culturally rich countries.

We produced a long film of the whole event and also shorter social edits and assets that were posted during the event each day.
